Internal Audit Services
Mandate:
The mandate and responsibilities for each of the functional areas
are discussed below:
a) Office Services Division – responsible for management of fleet; maintenance and identification of office accommodation; provision of messengerial, secretarial and security services; management and coordination of events; management of assets; and provision of logistical support for the ministry’s efficiency and effectiveness.
b) Procurement and Supplies Division – responsible for procurement planning; the procurement of goods, works and services; management of procurement contracts; and the management of office supplies.
c) Information and Communication Technology Division – responsible for developing ICT strategies; management of ICT infrastructure; management of information systems; and provision of ICT user support services.
d) Internal Audit Services - To provide risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight on governance, risk management and control processes in order to improve Ministry of Health and Sanitation service delivery.
